Remote Learning

“Also received the work plan for the next fortnight. It’s great. Thank you again. I was planning xx’s work based on what we received but this is so so much better!”

“Thanks. She loved the app, so motivated. More of the same please.”

“Thank you for taking the time to send work each day. It’s helped to have appropriate and fun ideas of what we could do.”

From September 2020 we have a range of things in place to support your child’s learning if they are not in school.  This could be due to self isolation, shielding, partial lockdown or in the event of unexpected school closure.

Teachers will provide your child with learning in the following ways:
  • daily updates on class learning via Marvellous Me
  • emails from the class email address e.g. red@woolgrove.herts.sch.uk
  • online work set via Education City – www.educationcity.com
  • paper copies of resources including laminated handwriting sheets, numbers to order, social stories, pink reading words etc.
Learning will be personalised to your child’s needs including extension activities.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have difficulties accessing any of the online resources, are not sure of the tasks or need advice about how to implement home learning with your child.

You will also find lots of additional ideas and resources in the “Suggested home learning activities” and “Other home learning links” sections of the school website.
