Widgit

Woolgrove Outreach is a Widgit Centre, that offers training courses for Communicate In Print 2 and In Print 3.  Widgit has created two programs that enable schools to produce symbol-based resources such as social stories, flashcards, worksheets and timetables – In Print 3 and Widgit Online.  Please visit the Widgit website to find out more about these programs, for details on subscription costs and to download a free trial.  https://www.widgit.com/  (Please note that it is no longer possible to purchase Communicate In Print 2.)

Unfortunately, due to Widgit becoming subscription-based, Woolgrove is no longer able to offer discounts on products, unless ordering larger numbers of site licenses.  Please contact Widgit directly to order products with site licenses of 10 and below.

    Once a place has been offered, you will be contacted by the school to arrange an initial meeting.
    In addition, you may be aware that in the coming months Hertfordshire Local Authority will be undertaking a consultation of its specialist provision, including  changes to all its special schools including Woolgrove.  Please refer to the Hertfordshire Local Offer for more information on this consultation and what it means for Woolgrove in the future.
