Assessment
How we assess at Woolgrove
All children are baselined within the first three weeks of starting at Woolgrove School. We have our own assessment system based on Development Matters 0-5 and the National Curriculum. Our assessments are recorded on an online system called TrackAble. Parents are provided with a log in so they can see their child’s assessments and any evidence that has been uploaded. They can also add evidence of what their child can do outside of school to provide a holistic view of the child.
What we assess at Woolgrove
All children are assessed in the following areas and personalised targets will be set for these areas:
- Personal, Social, Emotional Developmen,t including Life Skills
- Communication and Language
- Mathematics
- Literacy
Evidence and assessments for these areas are added to the TrackAble system:
- Physical Development, including swimming and Fine motor skills.
For our EYFS and Formal Pathways evidence and assessments are added to the TrackAble System for:
- Understand the World, including Religious Education and Computing
- Expressive Arts and Design
